Day 3

Today I have made a discovery the later I go to bed the ealier my body wants to awaken. My alarm, set for 6:45; was still peacefully telling time when I arose at around 6:18.  I guess the early worm even if it doesn't know how early it is still gets the worm, and I was early(first one in class). In my lovely 8am class we are reviewing the basics of Algebra that we should have learned in high school. It was a  basically lecture math class; although after accomplishing a mountain of problems being able to go on blackboard.com and seeing the power point she used to teach really helps to understand a few concepts I wanted to review.

In text Analysis with David G. I think the whole class was taken by surprised by how deep we looked at barely a paragraph of text. We are looking at the opening scene of Hamlet, which is maybe three sentences of a conversation between guards. Everyone felt slight terror when his passing glance landed upon us, because for the first time a teacher wants us to not get the right answer, but to look for many responses. I love what David said  "Don't look for the answers...look for the questions!"

In Stagecraft we look at the history of theaters (their physical structures) and their evolution overtime. I am still surprised at how fast these three classes fly by; because as I think we are just getting started, class is over.

I have been making my self lunches which is a most fulfilling way to get some quiet time for myself; maybe watch 15 minutes of C-span. I have discovered my favorite snack at this time are "honey bunnies" they are these little crackers shaped liked bunnies and are simply delectable!

Wanting to buckle down and do some serious homework after lunch I went to the library around 1 and left about 5; I am thoroughly sick of doing math problems!

I just finished eating Dinner; have I mentioned how excellent the food is, if I have not I shall dedicate a day to talk about it....It deserves its own day. I am going about a half hour to go and see "mission IMPROVable " its an improv show just for the students and we get in free with our ID, I will let you know how it was tomorrow.
